School uses eigenland® to set impulses for its own
image of the future

The school as a place of education, encounters, well-being and togetherness - a goal of the school development process at GBS. But this implementation is not so easy in practice, when the students see the school as a pure place of knowledge transfer. The challenge for GBS is to establish a common vision and a picture of success for the future.

Increase of identification with the school

The school's objective is clear: the students and the teaching staff should identify better with the school in the future and thus become brand ambassadors for the Realschule. In addition, the desire for the future and joint development is to be further increased among the staff.

  • A change in the school management is imminent
  • Despite good communication within the college, the own vision or the image of success of GBS has not been further developed in the past
  • The enrollment of new students has decreased for the first time this year due to increasing competition between schools.
  • Since decision-making structures and working methods will be changed in the future, the college would like to define where the future journey should go
  • Stronger identification of the teaching staff with their own competencies and increase of their own initiative in future decisions
  • Promoting the further digitalization of the school and the networking of the work within the college, as well as with the students.
  • eigenland® pro-bono workshop with the teaching staff
  • Use of eigenland® Multisense to drive the school development process forward
  • Intuitive evaluation of theses and intensive discussions between teachers on the defined five fields of action
  • Mutual presentation of findings and exchange of possible ideas/measures between the entire staff
  • Vision or image of success required in order to be able to achieve the set goals.
  • Further development of the school's image: more offerings both within the school (e.g., bilingual branch, laptop classes) and outside the classroom (e.g., school band, theater club, etc.).
  • Expansion of the digital set-up and the networked work within the college.
  • Self-reflection with regard to one's own work as well as obtaining feedback is of great importance for the staff and will be strengthened in the future.
  • Communication within the college is an important success factor. The positive and loyal basic attitude of the members of the college is noticeable
